Davidson is a much higher level of competitive than those others, and is harder than Wake, W&M, W&L ED. Even ED Davidson is a big reach.

Try Tulane, Dickinson for easier admits than Wake and WM.

General, national admissions data is very different than specific data by high school. It may not seem fair, but private school admissions can have unique outcomes. At ours, there’s a certain liberal arts college with a below 30% overall acceptance rate that accepts over 70% of applicants from our school.

This poster must have a similar situation with Davidson and their school. I checked Davidson for our school out of curiosity and they accepted 4 out of 5 applicants in the last 6 years (6 out of 10 in the last 10 years with an average GPA of 3.8).[/quote]
