The arena would have been a source of revenue to include an entertainment district and sports gambling. Instead, we get just a casino proposed in Tysons. As for gerrymandering, the courts haven't decided yet. Too early to call that a win. [/quote]

I lived in DC and still didn't want it in VA due to traffic! And now I am in VA and very glad it did not go in due to traffic! What a horrible location. [/quote]

Yes, the location was absolutely awful, but anyone could see it wasn't a serious proposal.  They literally didn't even consult WMATA before floating it.  I honestly cannot believe anyone is still bringing this long dead nonsense up.  It was never real.[/quote]
