Sultan Barakat, a professor of public policy at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (Doha, Qatar), has warned that Israeli and US rhetoric suggests Israel could be planning a nuclear attack.

“I think there may be a surprise for everyone, such as a tactical nuclear attack by Israel in a limited way, just to allow Israel to come out as a nuclear power,” Barakat told Al Jazeera.

“This aligns with the wording that Trump has been using –  that this is going to be a ‘big surprise’, ‘killing civilisation’ – that sort of rhetoric,” he said.

“I think now, in their own minds, [Israel] think they need to come out as a nuclear power, but they need to demonstrate it in a limited way – and in a way that does not have a major fallout across the region, so that it’s there but not too devastating,” Barakat said.[/quote]

The only way Israel achieves its dream of Greater Israel is destroying Iran is through nukes. If a country is willing to genocide more than 500,000 Palestinians, then using a nuclear weapons isn't out of the realm of possibility. [/quote]
