Sultan Barakat, a professor of public policy at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (Doha, Qatar), has warned that Israeli and US rhetoric suggests Israel could be planning a nuclear attack.

“I think there may be a surprise for everyone, such as a tactical nuclear attack by Israel in a limited way, just to allow Israel to come out as a nuclear power,” Barakat told Al Jazeera.

“This aligns with the wording that Trump has been using – that this is going to be a ‘big surprise’, ‘killing civilisation’ – that sort of rhetoric,” he said.

“I think now, in their own minds, [Israel] think they need to come out as a nuclear power, but they need to demonstrate it in a limited way – and in a way that does not have a major fallout across the region, so that it’s there but not too devastating,” Barakat said.


The only way Israel achieves its dream of Greater Israel is destroying Iran is through nukes. If a country is willing to genocide more than 500,000 Palestinians, then using a nuclear weapons isn't out of the realm of possibility.

Trump agrees to suspend bombing of Iran for two weeks
Donald Trump has announced that he will suspend his threatened bombing of Iran’s energy infrastructure and bridges for two weeks.

In a post on Truth Social he says that it is conditional on Iran reopening the strait of Hormuz calling it a double sided ceasefire. He goes on to say that he has received a workable ceasefire proposal from Iran.

I think Driscoll was friends with Vance. I believe they went to Yale Law at the same time. But it is very good to see all the resistance to Hegseth from officers and the secretary of the army

I would rather he die or someone kill him.

Releasing photos is just going to enrage him more. He's already such a loose cannon, and I fear the repercussions for civilians if this happens. Lord knows Republicans, congress, and his MAGA base wouldn't care - they already don't care about his convicted sexual abuse history (among other crimes)
