At our highly competitive center school, scores are much higher than other elementary schools in FCPS (in-pool 140+ compared to 130s elsewhere). Lots of prepping and extra enrichment happening. Many students scoring 98/99% at our elementary weren’t admitted to AAP. [/quote] And someday these non aap kids will be getting 100%s in honors classes and wondering why they are in a school system that doesn't believe in them. But, maybe it will feel like vindication when they are rocking honors math classes and all the aap kids who struggle with math are in the same class as them and they can see how their strengths really measure up against the kids they've been segregated from all these years[/quote]
