My husband only came into the exam room during one pregnancy ultrasound and the transfers, never monitoring appointments. I wouldn't have wanted him to come for those and would have thought it was an imposition on the other women in line. However, he did often wait in the waiting room because we carpool to work. After the appointment, we would get a cup of coffee together and then both walk to work from GW.
Same with us, although I had my treatments at SG.
Same with us, our treatment was at DF...DH at every FREAKING appointment...for 2 IUIs and 3 IVFs...we commuted together every day to work...and the appointment was on our way to work. You know...I think the issue is with the clinic's layout...by the sounds of things...not the man being there. There was never any way a man was in the monitoring area in my clinic, unless he was IN the room with his partner. At our clinic, I would say my husband's privacy was more compromised when he was making his 'deposit'...than my privacy with monitoring EVER was.
