My parents were both vaccinated and heavily exposed to us but did not get sick. I assumed the vaccine had this strain covered or at least was effective protection. My kids did not get it either though, despite being more exposed to us and no flu vax. DH was ill for about a week and I was ill less than a week but we are both still short of breath two weeks later.[/quote]
