I just saw my doctor on Monday for a routine physical and he was wearing a mask. But he didn't have it over his nose. It bugged me the whole time - either wear or don't wear it, I don't care. But half wearing a mask is stupid.

+1 and you should thank heavens for all of us that provide herd immunity. Imagine if we were all selfish like this and diseases were even more rampant? I can't believe people don't factor overall population health and just focus on their own.
+ people act like this is heart disease or high blood pressure or something. Even the most effective vaccine will fail if it is tested against wild virus hundreds or thousands of times.
90% of pediatric flu deaths last year were unvaccinated children. 80% of all flu deaths last year were unvaccinated people.

If you get the shot, you are less likely to have hospitalization or severe illness. Even if its not exact match to the flu strain.
Vaccines are NOT a shield protecting you from being exposed.

Hand washing only helps a little bit. Try hand washing and Masking when out and about, especially at medical facilities. But really I do it for Target/grocery store/public transportation/etc as well, because I prefer not to be sick.
