I don't like soup and I wish people would stop pushing it. Just let people like what they like.
Yeah, I don't get why people need to be convinced. I don't care for soup. I will eat certain soups that I prepare myself, just the way I like (I don't like them liquidy so they'll be more like marinated beans and vegetables). I am picturing someone trying to serve me all different kinds of soups until they convert me into a soup person, but why?
Agree 100%. I’ve yet to encounter anyone beyond my MIL and aunts that love soup and chatter about soup. I’ve never heard friends or co workers talk about or bring soup. I’ve never seen anyone order soup at a restaurant. Never been to a dinner party or event that served soup. I wonder if it’s just a few people on this board. I get Ramen and Pho but those don’t seem to be in the mix with the soup pusher.
You really think that it’s just a few people on this board who like soup???
NP who is also incredulous about this claim. My family is obsessed with soup, and I have it multiple times per week. I have three teen athletes who are happy to have soup for dinner if it’s a hearty one or accompanied by something that adds extra calories like cheese bread.
