We met organically not on the apps. He is an adult with his own money, property and things and is not looking to me for money, mentoring or mothering. It is very easy, we laugh a lot and have a lot of fun together. I don't have children (not by choice) and he doesn't want them.
Wut. If the genders were reversed here, this thread would be lighting up with comments. If he is dating a woman who is 16 years older, he is looking for mothering. Do you notice the side-eye when you are out with him? We had a friend in our social circle who was also doing the "couger/cub" thing, and the comments were merciless (e.g., Does he have curfew?). However, a man in this same circle started dating a much younger woman (post-divorce), and the same comments were made.
