The only experience that can beat college (playing at being an adult with many guardrails) is actually living as an independent adult.  Lots of high school graduates jump right in.[/quote] That’s rough. I’m aware there are millions that don’t have a choice. There are also a few that skip college because they are motivated geniuses. Kids of most people lurking here are neither too poor nor geniuses. You can pick on each on every argument like hormonal teenager, but the fact of the matter remains the same - college is great if one can afford and paying too much for it even when you can afford is moronic.[/quote]
