But people need to make a decision during ACA open enrollment season. If Ds agrees now, what if there is another longer shutdown after Nov 21, and the shutdown passes beyond ACA open enrollment season?

Open season will happen even if we’re in a furlough status. Feds who are furloughed still do open enrollment.[/quote]

The shutdown is mainly about ACA premium, if it is not resolved before the end of open season. How the hell do people decide if they want to enroll in a plan or not? People need to know the cost before making a decision. Many people cannot afford to enroll without government help, they could miss enrolling a plan if the issue is not resolved before the end of open season.[/quote]
