I entirely dispute that short hair is more professional. That seems like something a very old person would say. Now long hair is back in fashion, and even though it's been co-opted by the MAGA gang, it goes far beyond it. Many women all around the world, and not in any way associated with US politics, are sporting long hair.

I am glad. The short hair look doesn't flatter every face. We should be allowed to wear our hair however we like.
