As noted earlier, none of this is newsworthy.  After Oct 7 it was obvious what would happen, and having it play out is just not "news" at this point.  There's nothing new to report - the hostages are still being held, Israel continues to work to locate them, and on it goes.  The occupation of Gaza is merely the end of an unremarkable and predictable consequence of Oct. 7.

The next newsworthy event will be the actual relocation of the Gazans far from Israel's borders, which will likely be of at least passing interest to the global media when it is completed.  Until then, there's nothing much new to report.  [/quote]

I don’t know, I consider it newsworthy that a one-sided conflict has spawned an endless wave of condemnation, which will rewrite how most of the world views many of the essential events that led to and occurred during WWII.

Quite newsworthy, I’d say. In fact, it seems inevitable that this “nothing burger” will have the greatest impact on resetting American politics in the past 250 years.
