As noted earlier, none of this is newsworthy. After Oct 7 it was obvious what would happen, and having it play out is just not "news" at this point. There's nothing new to report - the hostages are still being held, Israel continues to work to locate them, and on it goes. The occupation of Gaza is merely the end of an unremarkable and predictable consequence of Oct. 7.
The next newsworthy event will be the actual relocation of the Gazans far from Israel's borders, which will likely be of at least passing interest to the global media when it is completed. Until then, there's nothing much new to report.
That is silly reply - on the cnn splash page right now is a dad who killed his kid’s abuser, a deadly crash in Spain of a tram, and 3 sisters who recreated a picture from the 80’s. If those are newsworthy stories then the invasion of the largest city in Gaza should be a banner headline
Not necessarily.
Why was it a headline when Hamas invaded /occupied Israel and committed massacres?
Part of the reason Hamas did that in the first place was to gain attention because nobody cares when Israelis occupy them . It’s only when they kill Israelis, that the world cares

I don’t know, I consider it newsworthy that a one-sided conflict has spawned an endless wave of condemnation, which will rewrite how most of the world views many of the essential events that led to and occurred during WWII.
Quite newsworthy, I’d say. In fact, it seems inevitable that this “nothing burger” will have the greatest impact on resetting American politics in the past 250 years.
I know Zionists think this will all blow over and the halcyon days of living large will return. Wow, that’s a delusional misunderstanding of where we are now. The great grandchildren of Zionists will probably be paying off their portion of the debt that’s been created.

They like to do it slowly through starvation. Play with the victims a bit.
Yup, they're just like the Nazi's but much more calculated in their methods.
They've already bombed enough of the hospitals and other life-supporting infrastructure that all they need to do block food in and let Gaza slowly starve to death rather than waste more American bombs. Starving a million plus people will generate less outrage than killing them quickly. That way they can have people like liberal Zionists say stupid stuff like "If Israel intended genocide there, it would be done already"
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Holy moly! Almost 24 hours in to the Gaza City invasion - I’m seeing almost no coverage of the situation. The little reporting I’m seeing is from BBC and Al Jazera. I don’t see how we can have a democracy if we don’t see coverage of major events. Are US outlets being prevented from reporting?
Let’s see:
Epstein
Our President is a rapist
National Guard is being deployed across the nation.
Florida isn’t vaccinating.
Federal workforce gutted with outcomes mentioned per the PP
Kids are being shot in schools again
Russia and China cozying up.
I could go on and on. I think I speak for many when I say that Gaza is the least of my worries.
