In my community it’s almost universal that the teens get their own car nearly immediately. what really shocks me is how many luxury cars teens here get. My son has a new car but it’s a Korean car. So many nice cars in the student parking lot at school. Jeeps, teslas, and expensive trucks. I can’t think of a single one of my kids friends who doesn’t have a car. The most my parents did was help with the down payment on a new car when I graduated college. They never gave me a car outright [/quote]
