[/quote] If it's poison, and the handmaids are forced to eat it too, they're dead. If it's sleep-inducing, and the handmaid's have to eat it, they take a nap and live to fight another day. Also, since you brought it up, heat and most poisons don't tend to mix well, and timing a poison that isn't immediate is hard to calculate, especially in a baked good. There are plenty of things that'll make you sleepy that could hide well in a cake. Just sayin'...[/quote]
