Is it so difficult to give a synopsis of links you post.
Is it so difficult for you to go to the link and read a few sentences?
I don’t like blindly clicking on sites unless I have an idea what and why.
You're afraid of clicking on NPR.org? new Poster
Jeez just stop. Common courtesy to give a short synopsis when you were posting something instead of just making people go do all the work. Not everyone has all the time in the world.
Seriously now I’m curious. Is this an entitlement issue? Are you lazy or can you not read and digest anything longer than a bullet point? Is this what happens to helicopter babies grow up”? Or is this the result of the collaborative learning public school education model, which took emphasis away from the teacher as lecturer who directed and instructed students in the independent acquisition of knowledge (i.e. reading actual books, research, labs and recording and writing to prove what you know (paragraphs written in power point slides don’t count)) and replaced it with activities meant to teach critical thinking skills but don’t do a very good job at it because the skills needed (research, reading, listening, discussion and writing) to think critically aren’t actually being taught. Suggestions for you— keep scrolling if you are too lazy to click on a legitimate link. Because complaining that a random on the internet didn’t give you the bullet point to make it easy for you is a serious case of the lazies. An infinite amount of knowledge is immediately available to you via the internet, and this case a link to a reputable source was provided. The ease to access is unprecedented in history. You don’t have to trek to a library, book store or news stand. Information is literally at the tip of your finger. You click and the article opens, you can skim it in a minute or two to get the gist and decide if you want to keep reading. It’s all so easy. I mean if you can’t click a link all by yourself, then how do you manage to get out of bed in the morning and get yourself dressed? I blame helicopter GenX parents. This is why we need a continuous supply of immigrants from the developing world, without them country is doomed.
