I think it would be very enlightening to know where Barron Trump was rejected. Everything is personal with this family. So far, everything Trump does can be explained by vengeance, retribution, vanity, and greed. I would not be surprised at all if there is a Columbia denial at the root of this.

Of course it doesn't help that Columbia is a cartoon of progressive excess so it is a very easy target if you want to highlight far left extremism in academia. Going after Columbia does not hurt Trump politically at all. Masked students chanting "We are Hamas" and "Death to the Zionist State" are a PR nightmare for Columbia. Those student protesters were a gift to the Republican Party and it's not surprising at all that conservatives are going after Columbia. [/quote]
