OP, I learned real fast that I could download an app that will play annoying noises to dogs so I play that app when I’m walking around the TJ Maxx and the dogs go nuts and the owners have to get them the heck out of there. Oh man, I laugh till I cry. It is so darn funny.
“Dog Whistle - High Frequency" or "Dog Repeller LITE"
If you get caught doing this (which you will, because the apparent glee you feel at harming animals will probably show on your ugly face) around a service animal, good luck with the lawsuit. Since you can't tell a service animal from a pet, maybe just leave when you get upset about... things? Like an adult would? Imagine downloading an app to harm animals just so you could shop at... TJ Maxx...
DP. Not just at a TJ Maxx (frankly didn't know that chain is still around though it went out during pandemic), but also in other settings. The dogs everywhere thing is out of control. THAT many people need service dogs all of a sudden in last 5 years? If someone has data on this or an article, that would be good to read to understand this trend of dogs in indoor public places.
