NP. Not an obsession. In the situations mentioned above, I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay at a hotel if I’m invited to share a room with a close friend in a privately owned home. If it’s a resort with dozens or hundreds of rooms, yes I’m going to pay for my own room. No need to be insulting about someone’s personal preferences. [/quote]
