My trash and leaves get picked up fine and DDOT does a pothole blitz every spring. I can call to get my bulk trash picked up for free within a week. I’d love to know what Congress’s idea is to improve public works lol. [/quote]

This is what concerns me. I am not going to pretend like the crime in DC doesn’t bother me and doesn’t need to change, but realistically it doesn’t affect me and isn’t likely to. Public works—trash pickup, road work, 311—that affects me and DC actually does them pretty well. Does this administration have a plan for these items? I don’t trust them to get it right. [/quote]
