This. I know it's not convenient, but you can't want teachers to take your students' late work AND not give teachers a grading day. The actual submission maybe takes an hour or two, because sometimes there are error messages we have to fix if there was a new student, or a student had something missing, or got a class switched. But we get pushed to take failing students' missing work last minute so they can pass. This is also the time teachers need to make recommendations for next year for all of our students. And no, teachers don't get asked our choice and plenty of us have vacations, jobs and other things planned too. There was no survey sent out as to what other day any of us preferred, parents or teachers, I hope that we can just make the best of it.[/quote]
