Did a lot of agencies/offices give up space?  Ours didn’t and we’ve had tons of empty space, being heated and air conditioned to the hilt, for years.  A very small number of us come in 1x a week, otherwise it’s a ghost town.  [/quote]

Don’t know about lots, but our agency HQ gave up 1/3rd of its space and hired more people (esp contractors) so yeah, if we RTO then lots of people have to share offices which will decrease both morale and efficiency at no savings to the government. [/quote]

My agency gave up office space in HQ and moved to smaller footprints outside of DC. I moved from DC for my husband’s job and worked a few days a week from a field location. That location moved further away and I reduced how often I went in. I would have to quit or move if I were required to go daily - I’m not spending 3 hours a day commuting![/quote]
