It's about getting rejected from the ED and then getting WL at all the targets because they've already taken as many full pay white/asian male CS team captain+musicians that they want in their ED rounds. ED makes it a huge gamble: you either give up the dream school and ED to a target, or you will probably end up the safety that doesn't yield protect you. Maybe if ED didn't exist more of these high stats kids would get to choose among the target schools.[/quote]
