Yes. But I did not speak with him. Did you? How can you know how his mind is without actually interacting with him? You can't. And anyone with half a brain knows that what a person looks like in a photo is not necessarily a direct reflection of what is going on inside. That's a very facile way of thinking if you come to that conclusion.

My grandmother is 99 and some months old. While she has deteriorated considerably physically, mentally, she's sharp as a tack. Hell, her memory is better than mine, and I'm decades younger. One would never be able to tell by looking at her.[/quote]

Knew someone who lived to the age of 105 and was mentally sharp if not physically nimble until the end. Slowed down a bit after 103 cognitively, but still was present mentally. Even though was in a wheelchair and slumped over because of spine issues. But knew what was going on and could crack a joke and comment on what was going on in the world.[/quote]
