Open to other road trip ideas (we did Williamsburg last year).[/quote] We drove to Niagara Falls/Toronto one year for spring break (and did stuff in Buffalo & Pittsburgh as well). It was chilly but very uncrowded. The Tidewater Virginia (if that’s the right term?) area has a lot to do— historic triangle, but also the Virginia Living Museum, battleship & Chrysler art museum in Norfolk, Fort Monroe, some nice state parks, etc. Then there’s Philly, Valley Forge, etc. Or Harper’s Ferry, Antietam, etc. [/quote]
