Federal workers appointed with major US policy questions to address do not care one bit, nor have time, to address local DC issues. DC courts would be better managed with local control than relying on federal appointments to deal with trying local carjacking cases, etc. - as already evidenced by our existing and current court system failures and backlog. This is a pipe dream by the 5% of GOP people who live in DC though it does seem all 5% of them make up the majority of the DCUM Metropolitan DC Local Politics board.[/quote]
