Well aware that homicides are down vs. last year though not the long term trend in the past 15 years-ish, though we haven't yet had time to form a new long term trend. Generally homicide trend IS down w/ 94 YTD a little over halfway through the year which will put us slightly over 2019 if doubled

Which insinuates that people are not reporting violent crimes since you specified danger. If you meant people stopped reporting petty crimes, then say so, but if you are insinuating people are less likely to report violent crimes or major theft like a carjacking.... well, I don't believe you without statistics.
