Are you pretending it’s exactly the same as the other two (large) public schools?  And, 100%, people everyday choose NOT to send their children to Wakefield. Actually, there are quite a few of us N Arlington families zoned for YHS who send our kids to WHS for the immersion program. There are no neighborhood transfers to Wakefield, because there’s no room. [/quote]

Actually how many is “quite a few” relative to the populations of W&L and YHS?   Actually you are in the vast vast tiny minority.  Super glad you exist and all but just because you can point to an anecdote does not invalidate the premise that N Arlington families don’t want Wakefield.  [/quote]

Sure, we are in the minority. But your statement about N Arlington families “not wanting” WHS doesn’t make sense, given that NA kids aren’t zoned for WHS, and it’s not even an option unless they are in immersion. So who cares if they “don’t want it”? And I do know a lot of families who actively avoid YHS.  But I think kids can have a good experience at any of the high schools. [/quote]
