I think a class of 150 at private has a top half of 75 kids. There are not 75 kids at most publics putting in apps at T20s. I think private schools do broker their kids to a greater extend. plus, ED and SCEA is a system that brokers kids for you - you move 6 to chicago, and 3 to Tulane, and 3 to MIT EA, and the double legacy kids get in SCEA at Yale, etc etc.[/quote]
