I guess I don’t understand the rationale here. Obviously I don’t know where you live. But I think it would have made sense to apply to one or two additional public schools that provide decisions by Dec.

Would probably prevent some anxiety. Also, let’s not forget some school do defer high stats students, whether for yield protection, etc.

What did his school say? Did they have any thoughts on your approach? [/quote]
