A 7 yr old and 4 yr old are too young to walk a half mile in the snow- both ways, pulling sleds. I can picture getting there, someone loses a mitten, gets snow down neck, etc. crying, wanting to go home, doesn’t want to pull sled back. Sounds like a disaster. The younger ones aren’t going to want to stay long and can be unpredictable. A 9 yr old can’t manage them. Plus a lot of arm and leg breaks happen sledding. And less common, but still a concern, head injuries [/quote]
