It's so easy to talk about where you would/wouldn't send your kid until you're sitting with their options and are like - oh crap, this doesn't look the way we thought it would - if you've got the money you might find yourself pivoting to something that in this forum you would have sworn you wouldn't do. For example, what if your kid is shut out of UVA and Tech, didn't apply to W&M because it wasn't what they were looking for, but got into JMU and Michigan? We'd pay for Michigan because we can afford it. [/quote]
