Excellent kids can and will do well no matter where they go but the "best" opportunities at companies go to top schools to recruit because they have a higher success rate. BCG chooses the Ivies over UMD for active recruiting because they know they will have more choices. That being said there is a path for every hard working and high achieving student. I think it is hard to argue that students who do well at top 10 schools have more options then high performers from UMD, JMU etc...[/quote]
