The homework given, that I see, is meaningful and directly connected to class learning. It deepens the understanding. I see my kid daily at the dining table, making connections as she does HW and excited to understand challenging mathematical or biological relationships. If your kid is in H or AP classes and simple learning rote material and has no homework they are being cheated. And if you’re ok with that, good for you. But some people like to learn. And there are different pathways for these people, pick the appropriate one. [/quote]
