The democratic party now reminds me of the neocons of the Bush era? Anyone else get this feeling?

No. Clinton’s policies were moderate because he had to cut deals with a Congress led by Gingrich, Armey, Delay, Dole, and Lott. He got significant progressive policies as part of those deals. Nixon appears somewhat reasonable on a few issues only because he had to work with a heavily Democratic pro-labor Congress. [/quote]
