That’s such a stupid myth. 99% of the idiots driving these massively stupid cars go to the grocery store and target between their soccer practices and going to their office jobs. The car industry sells propaganda to idiot Americans to convince them they need these ridiculously stupid vehicles because the profit margins are better.  That’s because they’re exempt from regulations and additional safety testing since they’re classified as ‘light trucks’.  A portion of these are sold to idiots in the burbs who drive them all around cities and take up way more space than is needed.  A minivan or a station wagon is way, way more practical if you need to haul stuff or a family anyway.[/quote]

Jesus you're stupid. The specs on a minivan are way different than a dumb SUV. For starters, look up the ground clearance and bumper height. Minivans are way more practical for hauling a stuff + a family and are safer.  You can actually see the damn road an pedestrians walking in front of you while driving a minivan. Meanwhile, stupidly sized SUVs are classified as light trucks (why the auto industry loves them because they can skirt safety regs), thefore often have way higher bumper heights that make them stupid for driving with terrible visibility. Right. Minivans are WAY more bulky.

And the drivers are all either distracted with screaming kids 3 rows back or trying to drive aggressively to pretend like they aren't some loser in a minivan.
