If he were a Dem, they'd suggest he was gay. It will be quite the conundrum for them if Scott gains traction. Plus Americans have a great interest in First Ladies (and, apparently, the quality of First Couple marriages, if the recent thread on presidential marriages is an indicator), unlike in many other countries.
