The video is bad, blaming the citizens for not supporting the police. Deflection. Everyone except for the police chief sounds like a robot. Also Wilson totally sucks all around and so does the city manager (the one with the real power). I can't go to the post office, or north OT and now Arlandria in the middle of the day without worrying about being shot.
Forgot to post link to video https://youtu.be/EJZhHG--J4I
Thanks for posting the link. 5 homicides so far in 2023 for a city of what 156,000K people? Per capita that's worse than the Bronx! They are literally NOT doing ANYTHING about it, just talking about needing tips to solve these crimes not HOW they ARE GOING TO PREVENT CRIME HERE. BBQ'S CLEARLY aren't WORKING. Fools. All of them.
The 6 homicides in 2022 equal the TOTAL homicides in the City of Alexandria from 2019, 2020 and 2021. Now, we are at 5 homicides less than half-way through the year. I've lived here for more than 45 years, and I cannot remember the entire City being in such a state. We used to worry about the Berg only. Now violent crime is seeping into all neighborhoods. The mayor can blame Covid all he wants, but this is 100% on the City's leadership - or lack thereof.
