And did you take any precautions like masking on flights, not eating indoors, masking indoors there or was it more a roll of the dice that worked out? Any places in Europe that are still covid cautious and/or where it'd be easier to avoid it than other places? I'm guessing a rainy week in Ireland makes it easier to catch bc you'll mostly be indoors.
My friend was very cautious (travel to Rome), KN-95 masks on planes and indoors, only outdoor restaurants… she took her mask off only once fairly briefly inside a large hall of a museum. She got Covid. Meanwhile I was squeezed into an elevator with 40 different international strangers and no masks on anyone four separate times, shoulder to shoulder in public transport in a large city, etc. and I did not get it. I think that’s because I already had it, and my friend didn’t. We are both up to date with vaccines. There are no regulations or precautions anywhere in Europe at this point, and you will very rarely spot a mask anywhere.
