Arrest made. Apparently he tried to carjack someone
Anyone want to bet? - he has a very long criminal history, and would otherwise be in prison, but some local soft-on-crime prosecutor this rapist back on our streets, to rape, carjack, and rob. Why do people vote for these prosecutors and legislators??
This response is rude-republicans worship themselves so much they make themselves the salve for every despair and and problem; you can't help it, it is your religion and hope
Conversely, progressive justice reform touted by liberals, and overwhelmingly the DC city council, does result in policies like the Youth Rehabiliation Act which shields criminals records, the second look act, the fact that speeders with thousands of dollars of speeding tickets can keep their license without issue, that violent teens get a slap on the wrist for theft and robbery, I mean all these lenient policies stem from this liberal idea against incarceration to a more restorative, holistic form of criminal justice. It’s weak on crime. Also, the liberal DA here has, by Wapo fact checking, declined to prosecute 67% of crimes. So I’m sorry but you are wrong. Republicans are tougher on crime. I’m sorry you don’t like reality.
