I don’t think so. His “supporters” are flighty and he’s been spending his political capital alienating everyone else. If he keeps pissing off people at this rate and doesn’t actually deliver anything, I can foresee a primary challenger and it because he’ll be an incumbent there will only be one or two so he cannot win by splitting the vote 6 ways. Strong chance he loses if a reasonable candidate emerges. [/quote]

At least one candidate was shocked Duncan dropped out given that she was leading according to that candidate's internal numbers. Looks like one of the recent Citypaper pieces also mentions that Duncan was leading Silverman's poll.[/quote]

That candidate's internal numbers must have been way off because she never garnered any traction beyond a cadre of Palisades residents. Even after the Cheh endorsement, she was not able to capitalize any support.[/quote]
