I'm a big dog woman and I've stopped both volunteering with and donating to most shelters because they can't solve their pit problem and are often part of the pit propaganda machine. I think it's disgusting.

No Kill was cool when we were talking about an escaped Lassie who needed to spend a night with animal control before the owners arrived for a pickup,  but it's ludicrous now. Bite histories distorted,  lying about breeds, pushing pits as the ultimate family dog just to get them out of there, some spending YEARS in a subpar environment . It's honestly disgusting and negatively impacts so many people (not to mention the dogs and cats killed) who have to live with these dogs around them.  And I feel for the dogs! It's total ahit humans who keep breeding these beasts, dumping them on the side of the road, trying to get 25 bucks for a pup, etc.

Trash dogs and trash humans. Like they deserve each other. [/quote]
