Isn’t it possible to be denied in one major but accepted into another?

Five years is a lifetime in college admissions. You used to be able to list a 2nd choice major and could be considered for that. They dropped that option a few years ago. You have to pick one major and it's that or nothing. They do have undecided major options but those have pretty low admit rates for VT.[/quote]

You can change majors within the same college easily though.  You're not stuck with the major you applied with.[/quote]
