I have had all the issues PPs have mentioned, though. To combat that, I: 
- only choose people who say thanks when they indicate interest. It’s silly, but not saying thanks when someone gives you something for free is crazy! I don’t really need it in the message, but those who say it in the message seem to say it in person too. I say thanks at the store when I pay! 
- when I DM with them, I ask them to pass it forward on BN if it doesn’t work for them. I know they don’t have to listen, but if that happened to me, I would feel like it was bad karma to try to sell after that. In any case, it makes me feel better and not care if they sell it. 
- Give a set time by when the item needs to be picked up. It sort of helps weed out some people; on the other hand, admins get annoyed because it’s not “simmering”. The people who reschedule or don’t show are very annoying!
- Look at the person’s profile to see their activity in the group. You can see how often they participate and if they just ask for everything.

Doing all of the above makes the BN group much more enjoyable for me. [/quote]
