The actress was bad.  My other (admittedly a nit) was that Kerry Russell was rarely ever wearing 80s clothing or hair.  Only when she was in disguise, but as "Elizabeth" she was not.  As someone who graduated from high school and college and grad school in the 80s, I am pretty familiar with the fashion beyond the exaggerated stuff you tend to see.  Most of the other characters looked very 80s.  Made me think that either Kerry Russell didn't want to look unattractive, or someone else didn't want her to.[/quote]
