The attacks on Wells (the only black immigrant running for BOE) are simply a witch hunt because the establishment will do anything to maintain power and prevent people from seeing all of the no bid contracts and other major financial issues going on at MCPS. They want parents to stay uninformed and they want to be able to hand pick candidates.

They also didn't do their research on Grace as she didn't pay taxes for years and finally paid off over $100,000 in federal tax liens just last year and refuses to answer questions about that (https://cnsmaryland.org/2022/11/03/eleven-maryland-school-board-candidates-have-faced-tax-liens/). Note Wells had one too which she had from her divorce and paid off within 18 months (and importantly, answered questions on).[/quote]
