I was disappointed.[/quote] You can go back that far, but it's tricky. the grandchild has to have gotten their citizenship before the great-grandchild is born, i.e., Grandparent born Ireland, parent born in US (automatically Irish citizen), grandchild obtains citizenship, great-grandchild then born and is eligible.[/quote]
