Sound like my DD's Ex.   Ex told her that 99.9997% that the relationship will fail.  They broke up just before they attended the same college. He wanted  to live in Frat house and meet girls.  DD got the last laugh.   He can't get into any Frat house where as DD and her friends can walked right in and partied till 2:00am.   Without the Ex, she met so many new people and have a great time at college.[/quote]

It is laughable that you compared your DD's Ex to a recruited athlete.  it is not the same because athletes get away with a lot of things that regular students can't.  It is almost impossible, 99.9997%, to have a relationship in college as an athlete because there are so many women who want to sleep with you.
